  • COURSE DESCRIPTION:
  • Levels: Beginner to Advanced
    Class size: 2- 4 students
    Course length: minimum 2 weeks
    Lessons per week: 20 +5

This course is designed to improve your general knowledge of Polish language while allowing free time to explore the history and culture of the Upper Silesian region and our country.

The course provides a solid foundation in grammar and the four communication skills of : listening, reading, writing and speaking. The course also focuses on language used in everyday situations.

Leisure activities and excursions are arranged to provide immersion and practise in Polish and to meet the student’s specific needs and interests.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

AGE
Students must be 16 years of age or over to participate in courses in AB Centrum. Anyone between 16 and 18 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult or to have relevant permition from the parents.

TUITION HOURS
Each course starts on Monday. Each lessons is 55 minutes.

CERTIFICATES
AB Centrum Language Centre Certificates are awarded to participants on completion of their course.

MEDICAL HEALTH
AB Centrum Language Centre should be informed, before arrival of the student, of any dietary requirements or medical needs.

INSURANCE
Students are advised to take our insurance for travel, health or loss of possessions, prior to coming to Poland. European Union nationals must bring with them a completed form E1.11

VISA
The Polish Republic Embassy in your area, if you are outside the European Union, should be contacted in order to obtain a student visa. We will send you a letter of confirmation of reservation for one of our courses on payment of the full course fee. AB Centrum Language center requires a letter of confirmation from the Embassy or a copy of the visa granted. If the visa is refused all fees will be refunded minus Bank charges and registration fee.

DISCIPLINARY ACTION
AB Centrum Language Centre reserves the right to expel a student who behaves in an anti- social manner. No refunds will be given in the event of expulsion. If we expel a non European Union citizen we will inform the Immigration authorities. All repatriation expenses in these circumstances are the responsibility of the student.

ACCEPTANCE
Participants accept the general conditions are registration procedure by signing and posting the registration form or by transferring 50 % of the course fee if they are E.U. citizens. Students outside the E.U. must pay 100% of the course fee.

 

REGISTRATION

To register for any course please complete the Registration Form. Courses should be registered for as early as possible (30 days prior to commencement). A deposit of 50% if you are an UE. citizen or 100% of the course fee if you are coming from outside the E.U. is payable when sending the completed Registration Form. The fee can be paid by International bank Transfer (copy to be attached to the Registration Form), or International Postal transfer to the following address:

BANK DETAILS:

In the case of a direct Bank transfer fees are charged to the Course participant. The reminder of the Course fee is payable before arrival Poland.

If the reservation has to be cancelled for any reason, AB Centrum Language Centre has to be notified at least 30 days prior to arrival. In that case (and only then) the Deposit, less Bank charges, will be refunded.

No refunds or reductions will be granted if course participants leave early or arrive after commencement.

AB CENTRUM REISTRATION POLICY

Courses should be registered for as early as possible (at least 30 days prior to commencement) in order to hold a place on a course. For EU citizens a deposit of 50% of the Course fee is payable when sending the completed Registration Form. If you come from outside the EU 100% of the Course fee must be paid to obtain a Visa.

The fee can be paid by International Bank Transfer (copy to be attached to the Registration Form), Eurocheque or International Postal Transfer.

In the case of a direct Bank transfer fees are charged to the Course participant.

The remainder of the course fee is payable before arrival in Poland.

AB CENTRUM CANCELLATION POLICY

If the reservation has to be cancelled for any reason AB Centrum Language Centre has to be notified at least 30 days prior to the date of arrival.

No refunds or reductions will be granted if course participants leave early or arrive commencement of the Course.

For cancellation notice 30 days (or one month) before arrival AB Centrum will give full refund minus Registration fee (10 % of the Course fee) and Bank charges.

For cancellation notice of two weeks (14 days) AB Centrum will refund 50% minus Registration fee and bank charges.

For cancellation notice of one week (7 days) AB Centrum will refund 35%  of the course minus Registration fee and Bank charges.

For a “no show” there is no refund.
